Dr. Sehgal obtained his medical doctorate at the Maulana Azad Medical College and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Grant Hospital in Chicago. He went on to complete his oncology/hematology fellowship at the University of Southern California. Dr. Sehgal was also an internal medicine instructor and taught medical students, residents, and interns for: Grant Hospital, Rush-Presbyterian Medical School and University of Southern California.
Dr. Sehgal is currently the chairman of the Cancer Committee at Hemet Valley Hospital and chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at Menifee Valley Hospital. He also helped writing the protocols for "Pre-operative intra-arterial Cisplatin for extremity Sarcomas" and "Intraperitoneal FURD."
